Snake poisons are complex and refined cocktails of toxins in their own way, jewelry affecting the victim's body. Obtaining them requires catching wild reptiles or breeding them in captivity – and this is a long and dangerous occupation, which in any case does not allow producing the necessary substances in large quantities.
"Panaceas do not exist" – it is in this context that you most often hear this term. This is not entirely true. But the more we learn about the human body, the more illusory the hope of getting a "real" panacea becomes – to create a universal pill (in a narrower sense) or a method of treatment (in a broader sense).
